This full-time position is based in our Kansas City office. Rosin Preservation provides a creative and collaborative small business work environment. Remote work arrangements will be considered for candidates who exceed the preferred qualifications and have 2+ years of professional experience.
Specific tasks will include:
- Preparing federal and state historic tax credit applications, including site visits, field documentation, preparing photographs, providing SOI guidance to clients/design teams, reviewing architectural drawings, and describing existing conditions and proposed scopes of work.
- Evaluating the National Register eligibility of historic properties and preparing formal eligibility assessments, National Register nominations, and similar documents (including building descriptions, property histories, historical contexts, and statements of significance).
- Archival research (online and in the library).
- Coordinating with clients, internal and external project teams, and reviewers from state and federal agencies.
