  • Job Summary: Provide general oversight to company function and stability under the direction of the COO and President. Also conduct and assist in site surveys, design, and project development.
  • Job Qualifications:

    Field
    o   Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or related field
    o   Knowledge of historic and construction trades
    o   Knowledge of historic preservation best practices and theory
    o   Experience in construction management

    Office
    o   Proficient at Mac computers, including Pages, Numbers, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
    o   Documentation experience, ie- shop drawings, photographs, detailed note taking

    General
    o   Driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
    o   Be able to work 40 hours a week Monday through Friday (hours are flexible)
    o   Ability to prioritize jobs effectively and efficiently
    o   Flexibility to work independently and in team settings
    o   Strong attention to detail
    o   English language reading, writing, and speaking skills
    o   Be comfortable working with chemicals and hazardous materials (with proper safety equipment)
    o   Agreeable to working in a dog friendly office
    o   Ability to take collaborate, take and give criticism, and communicate

Heritage Restoration, Inc was founded in 2001 by Robert Cagnetta to provide construction services specializing in the care and maintenance of old and historic buildings. From the detailed-oriented work of finish restoration to building manipulation and reconstruction, Heritage honors historic structures by identifying innovative ways to provide effective and sustainable building interventions.

This position shall assist in completing estimates and bidding, creating building surveys, and providing project assistance and oversite. Position shall also encompass employee management related duties, including training, annual reviews and concerns, and organizing company based events. Additional tasks may also include developing and overseeing public education, advertising and outreach to the community.
