Job Summary: The Manager is a skilled technical preservation expert who serves as project lead for historic rehabilitation projects, managing through the complexity of the historic preservation process.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (in History, Architectural History, Historical Preservation or equivalent preferred)
- Accredited Program in Historic Preservation or commensurate experience
- Knowledge of construction site requirements
- Minimum six years’ experience with historic tax credit application projects
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and write persuasive technical arguments
- Consultative and persuasive with deep knowledge of the historic preservation process
- Knowledgeable of federal, state, and local requirements
- Skilled and persuasive historic preservation writing and editing
- Basic understanding of real estate finance and role of historic tax credits in capital stack
Computer Skills:
- The candidate must have Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud suite (especially InDesign)
- Standard familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
