  • Job Summary: The Manager is a skilled technical preservation expert who serves as project lead for historic rehabilitation projects, managing through the complexity of the historic preservation process.
  • Job Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree (in History, Architectural History, Historical Preservation or equivalent preferred)
    • Accredited Program in Historic Preservation or commensurate experience
    • Knowledge of construction site requirements
    • Minimum six years’ experience with historic tax credit application projects
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and write persuasive technical arguments
    • Consultative and persuasive with deep knowledge of the historic preservation process
    • Knowledgeable of federal, state, and local requirements
    • Skilled and persuasive historic preservation writing and editing
    • Basic understanding of real estate finance and role of historic tax credits in capital stack

    Computer Skills:

    • The candidate must have Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud suite (especially InDesign)
    • Standard familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
