We are currently seeking a new member of our preservation planning team. The position is expected to be full-time, but other options are negotiable for the right candidate. Quinn Evans offers an established team of preservation planning experts who work in a collegial, intellectually stimulating environment that fosters professional development. The successful candidate will work on a diverse range of projects for a well-developed client base that includes federal agencies, state and local governments, and private sector clients. This position can be based out of any of Quinn Evans’s five offices in Washington, DC, Richmond, VA, Baltimore, MD, Ann Arbor, MI, or Detroit, MI.
Responsibilities include:
- General historic research
- Technical report writing
- Intensive archival and technical research
- Research, evaluation, and documentation for:
- Section 106 Compliance
- Historic Structure Reports
- Historic Resource Surveys
- Cultural Landscape Reports
- State and Federal Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit Applications
- National Register Nominations
- Interaction with client and regulatory personnel
- Collaboration with architectural and cultural landscape teams in various office locations
