Where You’ll Work
AINW’s headquarters are in Portland, Oregon. We complete projects throughout the Pacific Northwest and are expanding operations in the Puget Sound area. We prefer that you live in the Pacific Northwest and work in AINW’s Portland office at least twice a week. We are open to considering other arrangements.
Your Opportunity with AINW
AINW is seeking an experienced architectural historian to join our team at a senior level in the position of Project Manager. In this position, you would be responsible for interfacing with public and private sector clients to determine appropriate strategies for documenting and evaluating historic built environment resources based on applicable laws and regulations. You would develop scopes of work and cost estimates, assign the most appropriate AINW architectural historians for the job, and oversee the successful completion of projects through agency review. In this position, you would have opportunities to assist with field surveys, complete built environment documentation, and write technical reports, but your primary responsibility would be to direct project tasks and ensure successful project delivery.
You would report to AINW’s Senior Project Manager/Senior Architectural Historian or other project managers at AINW. We are seeking a candidate who can work full-time and travel occasionally (5% – 10% of your time) when needed for meetings and fieldwork.
