Required:

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a motor vehicle screening.
• Ability to travel to a location, hike and conduct fieldwork for long hours, sometimes in inclement weather, in a coastal setting, while carrying equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds is required.
• Experience at working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
• Effectively conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Flexible during times of change
• OSHA 10-hour certification

Preferred:

• Direct work experience in a landscaping/construction capacity, as normally acquired from one (1) to three (3) years of industry experience.
• Prior experience conducting invasive species removal through chemical and/or physical removal.
• OSHA 40-hour certification

An employee in this Amherst-based position can expect an hourly rate of $19.00–$24.50/hour.  Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law. Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
