Historic Preservation Specialist Responsibilities Include:
The Historic Preservation Specialist will support the Historic Preservation Program by accomplishing tasks at Fort Bliss, Texas required by the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and associated federal regulations.
Tasks involve supporting federal staff with various duties; monitor undertakings affecting over 400 historic buildings and structures; research and analyze original plans, specifications, and the buildings themselves to better inform new projects; and, where necessary, produce drawings to aid in project development.
The Historic Preservation Specialist is expected to focus on clerical and field work associated with each task.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
