    Qualified candidates must have Master’s Degree in History, Architectural History, Historic Preservation, or related field with 1-3+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years applicable experience. Must have experience with Microsoft Office. A valid driver’s license is required.

NTM Engineering is seeking a Architectural Historian to fill a full-time position in our Wayne, PA office. The position involves conducting in-depth historical research, conducting historic resource surveys, evaluate resources’ eligibility for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) and prepare historic resource survey forms (including statements of significance and architectural descriptions), Section 106 regulatory documents. The Architectural Historian will work with more experienced staff including Senior Historians and Archaeologists to develop historical contexts, participate in architectural surveys, and prepare Pennsylvania Historic Resource Survey forms. The applicant must be able to work well in a team and organize and prioritize tasks. Must be able to travel to project sites and project meetings (including overnight travel) as well as conduct field work in all types of weather and terrain conditions.
