  • Job Summary: ARCHITEXAS Austin is seeking a full-time Project Architect with historic preservation experience beginning immediately.
  • Job Qualifications:

    -Professional degree in architecture required; advanced degree or graduate level studies in historic preservation or 5 years minimum working experience in the preservation field a plus.-Minimum 5 – 7 years experience working in an architectural firm.
    -Licensed or on path to licensure.
    -Proficiency using Revit and AutoCAD for drawing and drafting is required.
    -Competence in Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), MS Office and MS Project is a plus.
    -Experience in field measuring and accurately converting measured drawings into CAD drawings is required.
    -Possesses thorough knowledge of design and construction document detailing.
    -Conscientious, detail oriented, desire to take on responsibility.
    -Excellent writing/communication skills.
    -Ability to prepare historic structure reports, condition assessments, and similar technical reports is a plus.
    -Must be willing to attend site visits. Some travel out of town will be required.
    -Available for full time employment.
