Boston Architectural College

The Boston Architectural College seeks an instructor to teach Urban Design Studio: Infill, Reuse, and Regeneration, a 3-credit synchronous online studio. The course focuses on neighborhood-scale urban design in existing communities, emphasizing infill, adaptive reuse, transit-oriented development, environmental sustainability, public space, housing, equity, and historic context. Students analyze a real site, including buildings, land use, transit, zoning, policy, and community needs, then develop design proposals through mapping, massing, street and block design, phasing, and written briefs.

Candidates should have experience in urban design, architecture, planning, preservation, or related fields.
