  • Job Summary: We are seeking candidates for a planner position to conduct development review and to undertake planning initiatives for the sustained growth and vitality of Portland, Maine.
  • Job Qualifications:

    The position requires skills in project management, policy analysis and community engagement. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Experience with GIS, graphic design, and other analytical software is a plus. Municipal planning experience and master’s degree in planning or closely related field or equivalent combination preferred. Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check.
