Dayton Preservation Works, CDC is the community development corporation arm of Preservation Dayton, Inc. a 501C3 organization founded in 1983 to promote the restoration, renovation and rehabilitation of historic structures and settings as economically viable activities and enhancements to the public welfare.

Dayton Preservation Works, CDC is seeking a consultant to complete a Feasibility Study to start a sustainable revolving fund to renovate vacant, historic residential properties in Dayton, Ohio’s underserved National Register neighborhoods.

Consulting Budget: $20,000 (Thanks to a 1772 Foundation matching grant).

Background: The consultant will work with a diversely experienced, congenial five-person board that has already completed considerable work to launch a historic properties revolving fund (e.g., formed the CDC; prioritized historic neighborhoods and identified strategic properties for stabilization and/or complete rehab; developed a high-level budget; applied for grants and government funding https://www.preservationdayton.com/revolving.html )
