  • Job Summary: Heritage Consulting Group’s Project Coordinator is well organized with great attention to detail. Assisting with project management, this position is integral to the timely and successful completion of historic tax credit projects.
  • Job Qualifications:
    • A MA/MS in historic preservation, architectural history, planning or closely related discipline is preferred.
    • Professional demeanor with the ability to multi-task, work independently and work with a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Read and understand architectural plans.
    • Research and scholarly/technical writing.
    • Photography skills.
    • Knowledge of the application of the Secretary of the Interiors Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
    • Proficiency in the following computer programs; Microsoft office suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign.

  • Emphasis on documenting existing conditions and reviewing drawings to understand and describe proposed rehabilitation work.
  • Assist with historic resource assessments, including site inspections, research, photography, historic building evaluation, and building documentation.
  • Assist with the preparation of state and federal Historic Tax Credit Certification Applications.
  • Assist with the preparation of National Register Nominations and landmark designation reports.
  • Some travel will be required.
