Historic Preservation Non-Profit Organization based in Wilmington, NC

The Historic Wilmington Foundation (HWF) Development & Outreach Director manages and directs HWF’s development, marketing, communications, and member support functions, and has responsibility for recruiting sponsors, donors and members, writing grants, and designing and coordinating signature fundraising events. The position utilizes communications skills, including copywriting and graphic design. HWF’s Development & Outreach Director communicates the organization’s mission, initiatives, events and progress to members and the broader public through newsletters, fundraising appeals, website updates/maintenance, and social media. Through collaboration and communication, the HWF Development & Outreach Director helps create, grow, and celebrate connections that allow HWF to perform its mission and strengthen its impact on the people and places HWF serves.

Salary: $43,000/- plus depending upon experience
