  • Job Summary: We're Hiring! We are looking for a Project Architect to join our dog-friendly office in La Jolla.
  • Job Qualifications:

    What We’re Looking For:

    ·         10+ years of full-time architectural experience, including at least five years managing teams and consultants.

    ·         Licensed Architect (California preferred) or NCARB certified.

    ·         Strong design skills, problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of San Diego building codes.

    ·         Proficiency in the AUTODESK AEC Collection (Revit required, AutoCAD helpful).

    ·         Excellent communication skills with clients, consultants, and team members.

    ·         Experience ensuring accuracy in project documentation.

    ·         Ability to mentor junior staff, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team setting.

    Bonus Points For:

    ·         Experience with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.

    ·         In-depth knowledge of construction materials, detailing, and various building types.

    ·         Familiarity with accounting and project management software.

    ·         Active involvement in professional organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Collaborate with firm leaders to enhance our reputation and expand our portfolio of high-quality projects.

·         Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.

·         Lead multiple projects from concept through completion, guiding clients and team members by managing project goals, budgets, and timelines.

·         Work with architects and associate designers, coordinating efforts with other disciplines to ensure projects meet design intent, code requirements, and client expectations.
