  • Job Qualifications:

    We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who has the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in architectural studies or architecture or master’s degree in architecture
    • License to practice architecture in Wisconsin or NCARB Certified
    • Ten or more years of professional experience in all phases of design and construction
    • Experience coordinating all project efforts to ensure effective execution on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction
    • Experience managing project communications and documentation, office administrative tasks, and project team assignments
    • Experience in design of historic commercial steel, masonry, and wood-framed buildings
    • Knowledge of the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties and Guidelines for Rehabilitating Historic Buildings
    • Knowledge of building codes, zoning ordinances, historic preservation ordinances and other regulations
    • Knowledge of civil, structural, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical engineering systems
    • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Office, and COMcheck
    • Detail-oriented problem solver
    • Highly organized
    • Proficient at time management and able to balance multiple projects and deadlines
    • Proficient in graphic, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Valid driver’s license in Wisconsin or other state in U.S.

Legacy Architecture, Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Project Manager to join our team.  The individual will work in partnership with the principal architect and fellow team members to fulfill the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Manages multiple projects through all phases of design and construction
  • Coordinates all aspects of assigned projects, estimates scope of work, and prepares strategic plans for project success to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects
  • Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the program, schedule, budget, and scope of work to completion to the client’s satisfaction
  • Leads team communications and coordination/collaboration with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts
  • Provides project team assignments, oversees and monitors work for accuracy, omissions, and legibility
  • Keeps principal architect informed of project progress
