Position:         Junior Preservation Architect, Full-time Position

Location:         New York, NY

Required Qualifications:

  • Professional Degree in Architecture
  • Professional Degree or Certificate in Historic Preservation
  • Strong interest in working on historic structures including New York City landmarks and New York State and National Register listed buildings
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and field report software
  • Ability to work well with others

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the principal and project team on multiple active projects
  • Assist in preparation of existing conditions and preservation planning reports
  • Assist in preparation of design and construction drawings and specifications
  • Assist in preparation of field reports and review of shop drawings
  • Work with project team to effectively meet design intent, quality assurance, and best practice standards
  • On-site review of existing conditions and construction administration. Willingness to work on scaffolding.
