🔗Historic Preservation Intern – 480 hours

Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks are looking for an intern to work with the Cultural Resources Branch and Historic Preservation Program. Projects will vary and can include developing historic resource studies and identifying historic properties. Intern may assist with data management and historic structure condition updates in remote areas of the park. Intern may also work on other cultural resource park projects as needed. Some fieldwork and camping may be required for this internship.
Park housing will be provided. Intern will be based out of the Ash Mountain Headquarters area in Three Rivers, CA.
This position lasts 12 weeks and begins mid to late August 2021 and continues through the fall. The start date is flexible. This position is sponsored by the National Council for Preservation Education (NCPE) in cooperation with the National Park Service.
