This position’s primary responsibility will be architectural review in the Nevada SHPO’s review and compliance program including Section 106, the Federal Historic Preservation Tax Incentives program, and the State of Nevada’s Commission for Cultural Centers and Historic Preservation (CCCHP) grant program. The position provides advice and technical assistance to State and Federal agencies regarding the treatment and stewardship of cultural resources.

This position is based in Carson City which is surrounded by the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains.  The state capital is located twenty-five minutes from stunning Lake Tahoe which offers world-class skiing as well as hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities and cultural events.  Northern Nevada averages over 300 days of sunshine each year.
