    Excellent position for a detailed oriented experienced mature woodworker with an interest in historic architecture. Retirees and second career applicants are encouraged to apply.

    3 plus years experience

Northwood Sash & Joinery is a millwork company that specializes in reproduction of windows, doors and millwork for historic homes and buildings.

The position requires advanced woodworking skills to replicate traditionally built custom historic windows, doors and millwork including. Machinery knowledge needed to use and set up shapers, tenoners and other woodworking machinery. Must be able to read and interpret shop drawings We will train in the methods and materials to build our high end custom work.

Traditional hand tool skills and finish carpentry experience beneficial. CNC experience a plus.

This position may also include installation of our work. Some occasional travel may be required to work on some awesome historic buildings throughout New York and the northeast.
