  • Job Summary: Partners is looking for an intern to join a research project related to understanding how religious congregations in the United States complete capital fundraising campaigns by engaging with their surrounding communities.
  • Job Qualifications:
    • Currently enrolled in a college or university or a recent graduate (within the last five years)
    • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills, especially for conducting interviews
    • Strong organizational skills related to the management of research data
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in order to meet definite project deadlines
    • Proficiency in the Google Workspace suite of tools
    • Prior experience conducting interview surveys or working with congregations is an advantage

  • Assist in survey planning and design
  • Compile a list of qualifying congregations and their contact information
  • Conduct surveys via phone or Zoom with congregational representatives
  • Synthesize data and write memos that help to analyze the survey research
  • This is a short-term, hybrid position that will normally require approximately 10 hours of remote work per week
  • Most planning and update meetings will be held on Zoom, but there will be some in-person meetings held at the Partners headquarters in Philadelphia, PA
  • Flexibility around academic schedule
  • The project will conclude by August/September 2025
