  • Job Summary: Trileaf is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Archaeological/GIS Technician.
  • Job Qualifications:

    To be considered, the resume of the applicant must demonstrate the following qualifications/skills:

    •             Bachelor’s degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, or closely related field

    •             Completion of an archaeological field school, or similar archaeological internship, with experiential training in archaeological field methods.

    •             Attention to detail

    •             Strong work ethic

    •             Valid Driver License

    •             Capable of field work

    •             Ability and willingness to travel (travel not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time)

    •             Previous coursework or experience using GIS

    •             Be an independent worker dedicated to excellence

The successful candidate for this position will possess at least a bachelor’s degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a closely related field, successful completion of an archaeological field school, and past experience working with GIS.

The job will include, but is not limited to, the completion of SHPO file and database reviews for above ground and archaeological resources, supervised Phase I archaeological surveys, assisting in the writing and production of cultural resource reports, producing graphics for final reports, assisting lead GIS Specialist on additional responsibilities as necessary.
