  • Job Summary: Trileaf is seeking a full time, SOI-Qualified, Project Archaeologist in the Midwestern United States, based out of the St. Louis, Missouri corporate headquarters.
  • Job Qualifications:

    Qualifications and Skills

    To be considered, the resume of the applicant must demonstrate the following qualifications/skills:

    Master’s degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, or closely related field
    SOI Qualified
    2 years of field experience and applied knowledge of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), specifically related to telecommunications projects.
    Experience holding and fulfilling antiquities permits
    Capable of field work
    Ability and willingness to travel (travel typically not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time)
    Flexible and adaptable
    Good computer skills
    Be an independent worker dedicated to excellence
    Attention to detail
    Strong work ethic
    Valid Driver License

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Project Archaeologist, responsiblites include, but not limited to:

The completion of SHPO file reviews for above and below ground cultural resources
Unsupervised Phase I archaeological surveys
Construction monitoring, and cultural resource report writing/production.
Travel to project sites may include overnight stays. Overall travel requirements average about 2 days a week.
