Description: US Heritage Group and Marion Restoration are sister companies seeking a Preservation Assistant to engage in preservation of the most important landmarks in the country. The candidate will be responsible for:

developing proposals

attending site visits to assess conditions

communicating with clients

assisting the president with general project management

project file management, permit acquisition, other administrative tasks

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are musts, as well as a positive attitude and eagerness to complete tasks.  The candidate must be highly organized and efficient.  He/She must work well independently as well as in a group environment. The candidate must be eager to learn about historic masonry and must be willing to apply themselves toward gaining expertise in the field.

·       Develop opportunities to initiate the sale of Marion Restoration services

·       Assist with the implementation of marketing goals and action plans to educate new and existing customers

·       Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential clients

·       Provide customer support from start to finish on all projects and maintain contact with customers during and after the completion of projects

·       Accurately estimate and price all work to maximize volume and profitability

·       Prepare client proposals and follow up to close the sale

·       Monitor and supervise the deployment of all projects to ensure the achievement of quality and the timely execution of projects

·       Document, coordinator and communicate any project change orders to field and customer

·       Ensure job files are maintained and complete

·       Assist in the training and development of sales and field personnel to enhance the quality of company personnel

·       Ensure the accurate and timely billing and assist in collection efforts as required

·       Participate in industry-related events to increase networking capabilities and develop new relationships and opportunities for work
